It's a long time since I referred to my self as an artist, but I couldn't thing of anything else to call my self that sounded less pretensions, whilst it is true that I studied art at college and university for the entire first half of the 1990's and had a brief sting as an exhibiting artist and worked at some of the leading arts establishments in the north Older of England since then I have worked almost exclusively as a web designer, web page builder, Web accessibility consultant and online branding consultant. Oh I am also a father of two and wife of one.
This project started initially way back in 1996 when trying to find a way to cross the gap between my old world of being an Artist and my new world of being a digital based designer but the works in this collection started to be developed with the starting of my freelance web design portfolio web site McCOYdotCOdotUK in 1990, the 30 minute 1 sitting per form was introduce on the advent of the birth of my fist child when I found myself desperately torn between my need for creative expression and my designer to be an attentive father, now I have two and less time between them and my freelance clients, but there must always be time to air my sole.
